COVID-19: State update - 109,917 coronavirus cases, 3,674 deaths

As of July 27, the number of coronavirus cases reported in Louisiana increased by 2,343 and the number of deaths had increased by 23, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

The total number of cases in the state is now at 109,917 and 3,674 deaths as of Monday.

The collection dates for most of these cases fall between July 20, 2020 and July 27, 2020, according to LDH.

LDH is reporting that 61,456 coronavirus patients are "presumed recovered" (updated weekly, last updated 7/19/20).

The LDH reports that 1,600 people are hospitalized (up 43 from Sunday). Of those, 208 required ventilators (up 24 from Sunday).

As of July 26, the number of coronavirus cases reported in Louisiana increased by 3,840 and the number of deaths had increased by 48, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

The total number of cases in the state is now at 107,574 and 3,651 deaths as of Sunday.

LDH is reporting that 61,456 coronavirus patients are "presumed recovered" (updated weekly, last updated 7/19/20).

The LDH reports that 1,557 people are hospitalized (down 43 from Friday). Of those, 184 required ventilators (down 13 from Friday).

On Saturday, July 18, the Louisiana Department of Health announced it will no longer be updating information on the COVID-19 dashboard on Saturdays. Information will be updated at noon daily except on Saturdays.

As of July 23, the number of coronavirus cases reported in Louisiana increased by 2,296 and the number of deaths had increased by 16, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

The total number of cases in the state is now at 101,650 and 3,574 deaths as of Thursday.

LDH is reporting that 61,456 coronavirus patients are "presumed recovered" (updated weekly, last updated 7/19/20).

The LDH reports that 1,585 people are hospitalized (up 4 from Wednesday). Of those, 197 required ventilators (up 8 from Wednesday).
