The damage of the storms filled the streets of Prudence Highway in Church Point with piles of debris, but volunteers worked all of Monday cleaning up what they could.

Multiple members in Church Point and surrounding communities already took to social media to create GOFUNDME accounts for the families affected.

One local non-profit, Dwayne's Dream Team Give Back, was contacted by one family and decided to help out as many families as they could.

"We are trying to get something together where if any of the families were affected by the tornado here, we can go ahead and get clothes, toiletries, and any monetary donations. Something that may help for a hotel stay or anything that might be needed for those families, we will be using that also," said Dwayne Richard.

The best way to donate would be to message the Dwayne's Dream Team Facebook page or drop off donations at Cafe Maison during business hours.
