Comfortable mornings on the way in Acadiana

It's been a hot September so far, hotter than normal, and currently there's still no sign of a cool down in the immediate future.

Highs on Tuesday are going to be back up in the low 90s, although this won't be accompanied with the usual round of humidity like it does in the mid summer.

Dry air continues to filter in to the area which means the next few morning temperatures will be more comfortable than they have in the recent past.

The sun will stick around for the rest of the work week, but as the weekend approaches we'll see a few spotty showers return to the forecast.

Still on the look out for that elusive first cool down and as soon as we get a decent indication it's coming we'll be the first to let you know.
