There hasn't been much to complain about with the forecast over the last few days, temperatures have been warming up and despite morning cloud cover we've seen sunshine through the later parts of the day.

Wednesday will be no exception, the clouds that have rolled in overnight will be with us through the morning but sunshine will dominate the later parts of the morning and afternoon.

The upper level winds will be coming in from the west, which will inject some drier, warmer air into the area which means temperatures will be well above normal.

Highs are going to push into the mid and even upper 80s over the next couple of days, which is more similar to late April, early May then it is mid March.

The warm up will linger through the rest of the work week and into Saturday, but a front will be moving through Saturday night which will drop temperatures slightly by Sunday.

This will be the first of two fronts that make their way across the area with the second slated to arrive on Tuesday bringing showers and storms and a significant cool down for next week.
