Mostly cloudy skies on Thursday, as the front finally moves out of the region, allowing cooler air to filter into the region through the rest of the work week.

The morning will be fairly gray but by the late afternoon we will start to see the clouds thinning out a little which will allow for some slowly emerging sunshine by the evening.

Temperatures will stay on the cool side with highs sitting in the mid to upper 50s but a solid breeze from the north will keep the wind chill down in the upper 40s and low 50s.

Once the skies are clear temperatures will start to drop and lows will eventually settle down in the upper 30s.

Sunny skies and chilly temperatures for Friday which will be the only real sunny day we have for a while with clouds arriving back in the forecast by Saturday afternoon.

Showers will pick up late Saturday night and continue into Sunday setting the stage for another gray, unsettled weather pattern.
