The clouds are returning to Acadiana after a quick round of sunshine on Sunday which will set the stage for a fairly gray work week.

As the moisture builds up on Monday temperatures will also be warming up and the highs are expected to push into the upper 60s by the end of the day.

A stationary front is going to move in for the first half of the week which is going to keep the clouds in place for the next several days, and will also keep temperatures pretty mild.

Even the overnight temperatures this week will be much warmer with upper 50s Monday night, and then not even dropping out of the 60s through the next few nights.

There's going to be plenty of clouds through the majority of the week but showers will likely hold off until the middle of the week, eventually peaking with a wet Thursday coming up.

Those showers will mean that the front has finally passed and while temperatures will drop for the weekend it doesn't look like the skies will clear that much.
