A front is draped across Acadiana which has kept the door open for showers to move across south Louisiana through Tuesday morning, and another round Tuesday night.

Showers will for the most part stay light and scattered with some of the showers easing up through the middle of the day, before drifting back in Tuesday evening.

Clouds will stick with us through the day, so be prepared for another gray afternoon with only a few fleeting moment of sunshine when the clouds thin out.

It's expected to be another warm day with highs sitting in the low 70s with temperatures expected to cool through the back half of the work week, even returning to the 30s by Thursday.

Sunshine will finally return to Acadiana Wednesday afternoon and stick with us through the back half of the week with drier, colder air moving in as we head into the weekend.
