As we stand on the brink of another weekend our forecast seems to be stuck, the result of a stationary front which is still hanging out along the I-20 corridor.
We've seen plenty of clouds over the last couple of days and that will continue to be the case as we go through the weekend.
It's going to remain a pretty stagnant forecast the next several days so morning fog and afternoon clouds are going to stick with us through the weekend.
A steady south breeze will keep in place a very warm, muggy air mass and temperatures are expected to sit in the upper 70s the next few afternoons.
Fog, particularly along the coast, remains an issue the next couple of mornings so early commuters may want to give themselves a little more time to get from point A to point B.
The next change in the forecast isn't going to arrive until early next week when a front forces our current air mass out and introduces a much cooler, drier mass.
This means showers and storms will be in the forecast to start to next week, so be prepared for some heavy downpours and maybe even a few strong storms for Monday and Tuesday.
