It's a cold start to your Tuesday morning with thermometers across Acadiana sitting in the low to mid 30s, with a wind chill that has been down below freezing.
Plenty of sunshine out there with only a couple of high clouds drifting through the area, but even with the sunshine temperatures are going to struggle.
Highs in the afternoon will be sitting around 50 with the wind chill staying in the 40s courtesy of a wind coming from the north around 8-12 mph.
Clouds will move into the area on Wednesday and thicken through the day with a round of steady rain arriving on Thursday.
There won't be any severe weather and flooding isn't expected to be an issue, but Thursday will be a very wet and gray day.
