The Chenier Center Block Party is back for its second year and happening tomorrow.
The event is free and open to the public. Activities include music, food and fun for all members of the family.,
It starts at 5 p.m. at the Chenier Branch of the Lafayette Public Library on West Willow Street in Lafayette.
There will be a book giveway for kids, live music from Philadelphia Music Group, Anthony Doopsie and the New Natives Brass Band; free vaccinations from the health unit, presentations from city departments about things going on in the neighborhood, a Home Depot workshop for kids, crafts, and musicial instruments to play. Super 1 Foods is providing the food, and the book mobile will be there too.
The event lasts until 7 p.m.
