BATON ROUGE — The Coronavirus Pandemic will affect incoming Freshman looking to live on campus at LSU this fall.
LSU Residential Life wrote in a twitter post that 3-person and 4-person rooms will not be a housing option this year.
Tigers, we know this is going to break some hearts …. unfortunately residence hall 3-student and 4-student rooms will not be options during room selection. We know this is not the news you want to hear - it's also news that we hate to deliver.

Students who want to live with two or three specific roommates are being advised to select two, two-student rooms near each other.
The Housing Office will host a live demonstration Wednesday at 4 p.m. to show students how to do this.
This announcement will not affect campus apartments or suite-style residence halls.
Traditional Hall room selection starts on May 18th and will run until June 12th.

The task force is looking at classroom sizes, class structure, dorm living and other campus activities.
The University plans on releasing their plan in the near future.
