Two local men have been arrested in connection with a stabbing that happened Tuesday afternoon.
Albert Wheeler III, 40, and Roger Delafosse, 31, were both booked with attempted second-degree murder. Wheeler's bond is set at $350,000 and Delafosse's bond is set at $365,000.
Lake Charles Police were called to the 700 block of 18th Street at about 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The victim said he was walking along the street and was stopped by two men in a vehicle. They got into an argument, and one of the people in the vehicle allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed the victim, Lake Charles Police say.
The investigation is continuing, police say. Arresting Officer- Charles Marque, Lead Investigator—Det. Colby Thompson.
