The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff says that residents are safe to return to their homes Saturday.

Sheriff Tony Mancuso says that deputies have completed initial assessments and it is safe for residents of Calcasieu Parish to return to their homes.

Residents are advised to be cautious when returning due to flooding and debris in the roadways.

A list of road closures in the parish is being updated on the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
