Police say they are currently working a homicide investigation in Lake Charles.
The Lake Charles Police Department says that the incident occurred Tuesday, November 3, around 3:37 am on Lake Street.
Upon arrival to the scene officers found a person lying in a parking lot of an apartment complex. That person had been shot, police say.
There is currently no other information at this time.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
