LAKE CHARLES, La. - A 46-year-old Lake Charles man is behind bars after he was accused of making inappropriate videos of a 15-year-old girl.
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office received a call on Monday in reference to a teen being recorded without her knowledge, according to Kayla Vincent, spokesperson for the Sheriff's Office.
The investigation revealed Damon P. Lechtenburg placed cameras in the girl's bedroom and bathroom.
When detectives questioned Lechtenburg, he allegedly admitted he had been filming the girl since July. Detectives say Lechtenburg saved the videos along with some still shot photographs on his computer.
He was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Parish Jail on charges of pornography involving juveniles; video voyeurism; and obscenity.
His bond has not yet been set.
