The winds and rains of Delta have calmed in Sulphur leaving a chance to see what damage has been left behind.

KATC's Chris Welty stopped at a gas station in the city which sustained heavy damage during the storm.

"it's incredible to see the power of Mother Nature, even with a category 2 storm," Welty said.

Traveling only a short distance from their hotel is a Exxon gas station which had it's awning ripped off. An ice machine was also knocked over in the wind.

Chris showed a street light that had blow off of the pole on the street a few feet away. Chris noted a few others are out and about as conditions improve. Sightseeing is not recommended.
