A 90-year-old woman has died from injuries she sustained in a November auto-pedestrian crash in Lake Charles.
Police say Mary Monk of Lake Charles was struck by a vehicle in the intersection of Central Parkway and Archwood Street at University Park on November 25.
She was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
The Department was contacted on Thursday, December 12 by the Calcasieu Parish Coroner's Office who advised them that Monk, who had remained hospitalized following the crash, had died from her injuries.
No citations were issued at the time of the crash. Police say impairment was not suspected.
An investigation is ongoing.
