Tuesday is a stunning forecast across Acadiana with another round of bright blue skies and perfect temperatures across the area for another day.
A light breeze will be with us through the afternoon coming out of the south around 5-10 mph which will be just enough to keep things fresh, but not overly windy.
Highs will sit in the low 70s across the board and lows will drop down into the mid 40s overnight, so another chilly night across Acadiana.
This is where the forecast starts to change with a front moving into the area which will eventually stall just to our north and remain stationary for several days.
Acadiana is going to remain in the warm sector of this front so the temperatures will linger in the 70s but the front will be able to pull more moisture into the area which means more clouds on the way and slightly stickier days.
There's a chance for some scattered showers on Thursday and Friday morning but it will be a far cry from a wash out, and mixed in with the clouds will be a little bit of patchy sunshine.
