The group is inviting the public out on Saturday December 5, 2020 to City Park, in New Iberia, where they will be using native plants and wildlife barriers to restore the bank line of Devil's Pond

There, participants will learn about storm water management and resiliency through native plantings, have an opportunity to help install a demonstration area, and receive advice and complimentary plants from local conservation experts.

Those wishing to help out are asked to bring water and a mask, in addition to gardening gloves, a shovel, and a chair. Registration can be found at this link

The event will be from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
