LPSS announces feeding plan

LAFAYETTE, La. - Lafayette Parish School System has released its feeding plan to co-inside with school re-opening.

The Meals to You program ends on August 14; school now starts on August 17.

In Phase 2, the hybrid model as is planned stage of reopening as of now, students will get a hot meal at school and then be given a grab-n-go bagged meal for the next day when they aren't on campus.

If at any point system goes to Phase 1 (fully virtual), grab-n-go meal will be available at pick up sites.

Also, water fountains will be available for use on campuses and will be cleaned every hour-but students are being allowed and being encouraged to bring their own water bottles.
