LAFAYETTE, La. — Walmart and Sam's Club have released a list of participating locations across Acadiana and the entire state that are offering the COVID-19 vaccine for eligible Louisianans who can receive them.
Walmart and Sam’s Club pharmacies will begin administering the vaccines through the U.S. Federal Retail Pharmacy Program on Feb. 12.
According to the list from Walmart, the company will schedule appointments for those seeking the vaccine and will also schedule an appointment for the second dose of the Pfizer BioNtech and Moderna vaccines.
The list also states that availability and appointment scheduling can be accessed at www.Walmart.com/COVIDvaccine and www.SamsClub.com/COVID.
Vaccines will be available to those who meet the current phase of vaccine eligibility in Louisiana which can be found at the Louisiana Department of Health website.
