The committee members of VOICES of Acadiana met tonight at the South Regional Library to share their vision and ignite hope for survivors of domestic and dating violence.
VOICES of Acadiana is a survivor led, survivor focused advocacy group established by Faith House of Acadiana in Lafayette in 2019.
Tonight's event included the acoustical duo The Egrets. One of the members of the band is a local domestic violence survivor who recently shared her story with news outlets in June to bring awareness to the issue.
The event also included prizes and giveaways and survivors were able to create vision boards.
