A second town hall on focusing on the opioid crisis in Louisiana will stream next week.
The town hall will begin at 12:00 pm on February 9, 2021. The virtual event will focus on the treatment aspect of the opioid crisis. The virtual event is FREE to attend.
Methods for treatment and management of opioid addition, from talk therapy and medication regimens to live-in treatment facilities, will be discussed by community and health officials.
The featured panel of specialists will focus on the types of opioid addiction treatment offered in Acadiana and their effectiveness.
