Competitors in Delcambre are putting their aprons on and battling it out for a good cause.
Saturday, the 5th Annual Delcambre Fire Department “Battle for the Paddle” Shrimp cook-off was held on the Shrimp Festival grounds.
Teams gathered to create their best shrimp dish and win cash prizes all to help out the volunteer fire department.
The event continues into the evening ending at 10:00 p.m. Admission is $5 and kids under 5 get in free.
There will be a live auction and live bands.
