Construction will begin today on a stretch of LA 92 in Vermilion Parish.
Alternating lane closures will begin Monday, March 25 on LA 92 between Hwy 700 and LA 343. DOTD says the work is part of a $3.7 million project that will include milling, reconstruction, and overlaying asphalt.
The project’s completion is set for Fall 2019.
DOTD says the roadway will remain open for regular traffic. A 10-foot lane restriction for oversized loads passing through the work zone will be enforced.
Minimal delays are expected for motorists while work is being completed.
