A winning lottery ticket purchased in Abbeville has still not been claimed.
According to the Louisiana Lottery, as of Wednesday, March 1, 2019, no one has stepped forward to claim a $10,000 Louisiana Lottery Mega Millions prize. This prize was won during the Oct. 2, 2018 drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Super 1 Foods #638 on Veterans Memorial Drive in Abbeville and is set to expire March 31, 2019.
The winning ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers drawn and the yellow Mega Ball number to win $10,000.
The winning numbers for the Oct. 2, 2018 drawing were 02-22-29-31-34 and the Mega Ball number was 01.
The holder of the winning ticket has until 5 p.m. by the close of business on Friday, March 29 due to March 31 falling on a weekend. Winnings are subject to applicable federal and state tax withholdings. Prizes greater than $600 may be claimed at any of the Lottery’s five regional offices located throughout the state or at Lottery headquarters in Baton Rouge.
