One man was wounded in a Friday night shooting in Abbeville, the Meridonal reports.
Police were called to the intersection of Schlessenger and Martin Luther King streets shortly before 9 p.m. Friday, the newspaper reported.
They found a man lying in the road, with a single gunshot wound to the back. He was transported to Abbeville General Hospital, the newspaper reports.
Detectives were able to find surveillance video of the scene, and it showed that someone hid in a tree line and fired on several other people with a high-power rifle, striking the man, a vehicle and a storefront, the newspaper reports.
