Three people are injured following a stabbing in Delcambre today.
Police say they received a report of a fight at a local convenience store.
When they arrived, officers learned two people had been stabbed and a third person was injured in the fight.
According to the police department, the two people who had been stabbed left the scene and drove to an Abbeville hospital. They were treated and released.
The third person who was injured was taken to a New Iberia hospital by ambulance and remains in the hospital.
Police say all persons involved have been identified and that the investigation is ongoing.
Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
Per the police department, no one from the town was involved in the incident, and the public is not in danger.
