Members of Harvest Time Church in Abbeville are spreading some Christmas cheer.
This morning, church members and volunteers handed out toys to kids in the area.
The church had been collecting toy donations prior to today’s surprise.
Later, in Lafayette, a local group called the BEE Keepers is teaming up with The Harvest Center Church for the second time to host the Toy Giveaway Xtravaganza.
The event will be from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the church on E Simcoe Street.
Organizers say underprivileged kids will each receive a toy, meal, and Christmas craft to take home with them.
