Southern Screen, a nonprofit organization that focuses on storytelling and the entertainment industry in Lafayette, is partnering with Bayou Round Up to host a drive-in movie of the film Grease at Blackham Coliseum on Saturday, October 20. This year marks the film’s 40th Anniversary.
Admission for the event will begin at 5 p.m. with a 15-minute hot rod short film beginning at 7 p.m., followed by the screening of Grease. Southern Screen will have food trucks and cold drinks available for purchase before and during the film. Admission for the drive-in movie is $20 per car or a $5 walk up fee. First 20 Bayou Round Up registered cars get in for free, then the fee is $10.
