United Way hosts Women Who Mean Business Awards

Women Who Mean Business

United Way of Acadiana and United Way's Women United hosted the 20th Annual Women Who Mean Business Awards, recognizing the accomplishments of ten local women.

These women have made significant impacts in their workplaces and communities through entrepreneurship, professionalism, civic engagement, and community leadership.

Tonight's awards ceremony was held at the River Oaks Ballroom.

This year's honorees are:

Christa Billeaud, Lafayette Parish
Elizabeth Brooks, Lafayette Parish
Anya Burgess, St. Martin Parish
Kim Cummins, EdD, Acadia Parish
Shannon Seiler Dartez, Lafayette Parish
Bobbie DeCuir, PhD, Lafayette Parish
Anne Falgout, Vermilion Parish
Emily Hamner, Lafayette Parish
Jan Risher, Lafayette Parish
