The Three O'Clock Project has updated their food distribution throughout Acadiana.

For the parishes and partners that get the non-profit's boxes of seven days of food starting today they are now distributing the meals with the fresh fruit and milk bagged separately from the frozen entrees and breakfast items. After learning that milk was busting inside the boxes, they have come up with a different solution.

The group order supplies in large quantities (ie they purchased $40,000 in boxes which is about 280,000 to 300,000 boxes - one week supply) and had to get through the current supply and packaging.

Three O'Clock Project is a nonprofit organization that provide healthy meals and nutrition education for at-risk students after school.
