Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with several vehicle burglaries in Morgan City.
Police say that on June 23, 2019, the Morgan City Police Department received several reports of vehicle burglaries.
A patrol officer investigating the complaints came into contact with several juveniles matching the description of suspects in those thefts. Detectives responded to the scene to assist with the investigation.
Police say a 14-year-old was arrested for possession of stolen property valued at $2,000. Another 14-year-old was arrested for two counts of simple burglary.
The investigation is still ongoing.
