The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office says that deputies are still searching for a Charenton man reported missing in May.
Deputies say that 56-year-old John Batiste was last seen by his family on May 9 at 3:00 pm.
Batiste is described as being approximately 5 ft 8 inches and is 180 pounds. What he was wearing when he was last seen is unknown.
Anyone who has seen Batiste or may have any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office at 337-828-1960.
Deputies say that Batiste has a history of leaving and traveling to the New Orleans, Lafayette, and Baton Rouge areas.
