Morgan City Police say a 14-year-old was arrested for terrorizing after allegedly posting a threat on social media.
Police say the teen, who is a student at Morgan City Junior High School, was arrested on Wednesday, March 26 following an investigation. The threat had been made in recent days, according to police.
The department says they were alerted by school officials after the threat was brought to their attention.
Officers were able to identify the juvenile and take them into custody. The teen has been released pending court action.
