Downtown Franklin transformed into carnival central for a few hours.
The parade rolled at 1:00 pm starting in front of Franklin Senior High School. The parade included decorated floats, cars, golf carts and revelers walking along the route.
The parade traveled east on Main Street, making a U-turn by The Teche Theatre and turning left onto Willow Street. The parade then turned right onto Third Street, disbanding at the end of Third Street.
