An artists gift to the City of Morgan City is being unveiled tonight at the city’s annual lighting ceremony.
Lee Romaire, a native of Morgan City and artist now living and working in Hollywood California created the new display. The work is Cajun-themed including Santa in white boots and three alligators.

The lighting ceremony will take place on Brashear Avenue at the “Spirit of Morgan City” Shrimp Boat. Each year the lighting ceremony starts the holiday season.
The ceremony starts at 6:00 pm Friday, November 30, 2018.
