Chitimacha Police arrest two in money laundering investigation

Chitimacha Police arrested two men in an ongoing money laundering investigation, a spokeswoman said.

Kolby Gree and Diante Noel were both booked into the St. Mary Parish Correctional Center. No bond has yet been set for either man.

Green was booked with Obstruction of Justice; Money Laundering, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Noel was booked with Obstruction of Justice; Money Laundering and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

These arrests were the result of an on-going money laundering investigation being conducted by the Chitimacha Tribal Police, a spokesperson said. Part of the investigation is aimed at determining the source of the money, a spokesperson said.

As a result of these arrests, approximately $38,000.00, in U.S. Currency was seized.
