The annual Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival wrapped up today.
The events began last week at Parc Hardy in the Crawfish Capital of the World.
Among the events this year were food and cooking demonstrations, crawfish eating contests, an etouffee cook-off, the carnival midway and arts and crafts displays, dance contests and crawfish races, and of course a lot of Cajun, Creole and Zydeco music.
Today the festival grounds opened at 9 a.m., and they closed at 4 p.m.
