A man has been arrested in connection with a February burglary of a local church in Breaux Bridge.
This is the second arrest in connection with that burglary at the church and Christian school
Arrested Friday was 33-year-old Ross Clark of Lillie. Clark was arrested and booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the charge of Illegal Possession of Stolen Things.
Also arrested in this case was 34-year-old Ashley Dejean of Breaux Bridge. She was booked on Illegal Possession of Stolen Things and active warrant out of Vermillion Parish on March 31, 2019.
On February 10, officers responded to the burglary of a local church and Christian school. After an extensive investigation a search warrant was obtained for Dejean in connection with the incident. According to officers, a search of a residence revealed several of the stolen items.
Dejean’s warrant out of Vermillion Parish is not connected to the church burglary but is associated with another burglary, according to police.
She is charged with the following
- Illegal Possession of Stolen Things
- Possession of Schedule I
- Possession of Drug Paraphernailia
- Possession of CDS Within 2,000 Feet of School Zone
- Simple Burglary (VPSO Warrant)
