Children were decked out in traditional Mardi Gras costumes for Courir des Enfants.
The Courir and chicken chase were held in Breaux Bridge in front of St. Bernard Church.
Children played Cajun music and begged for ingredients for gumbo from residents along Washington Street along the Teche.
Parents and grandparents were invited to join in the Mardi Gras fun and festivities.
