Some in St. Martin Parish are celebrating Mardi Gras country style.
The Creole Farmers’ Market of St. Martinville is hosting their 15th Annual Cornucopia Ball to the theme “Everything Country” at the Cade Community Center.
The ball is for Pre-K-8th grade students, but everyone is welcome to attend.
Eighth graders are chosen as royalty: king, queen, debutantes, and dukes. The younger kids will dress in costume coinciding with the theme.
Music and dancing continues until 11 p.m.
