Police say Patin allegedly entered Simmi’s Quick Stop with his face covered, armed with two large kitchen knives. The 911 caller reported that Patin had stated that he was “looking around the store asking if there were any white people inside because he wanted to kill white people.”

Officers arrived on scene and after a short verbal negotiation, Patin dropped the knives.  After a physical altercation, Patin was arrested.

St. Martinville Police say that after his arrest Patin stated, “I want to kill white people and Donald Trump.”

Patin was booked into the St Martin Parish Jail on charges of disturbing the peace, aggravated assault on a peace officer, resisting an officer with force or violence and battery upon a peace officer.
