The St. Martin Parish School System’s JROTC teamed up with Breaux Bridge High School’s National Honor Society to provide veterans with food for the holidays.
The group brought boxes of food to the St. Michael’s Center for Veterans today.
JROTC spokesperson SFC Vincent Starwood says not only did the cadets bring a smile to the veterans’ faces but learned how serving the community makes a difference.
JROTC is part of the school system’s College Career Readiness Center.
