A Houston man has died following a single vehicle crash in St. Martin Parish.
The Crash happened shortly after 2:00 am on December 16 on LA 347 near Doyle Melancon Rd. A spokesman with State Police says the vehicle 28-year-old Joseph Terral of Houston, TX was driving left the roadway, hit a concrete culvert, entered a ditch, and then struck a tree.
Troopers say Terral was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died. The crash remains under investigation.
