This afternoon, deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office say they responded to a report of an alligator in a ditch next to a business off of Mills Hwy.
Officials say that this is the third report this month. Last week an alligator was found lounging in front of a residence on Poydras Hwy in Breaux Bridge.
Deputies ask that people be cautious and be aware of your surroundings while outdoors. Keep an eye on small children and pets.
