Beau Chêne High School has a new homecoming queen.
Courtni Henry was crowned queen last night before making her debut at the homecoming dance tonight.
According to Courtni’s mom, this is the first time a Beau Chêne student with special needs was crowned royalty.
Friends of Courtni say she is well-deserving of the title.
A friend of the family says tonight is also a celebration of how well the school demonstrates inclusion among their students.
