I-10 West reopens before Henderson after crane falls onto roadway, vehicle

UPDATE: All lanes of I-10 West before Henderson are now open after a crane fell onto a vehicle. The scene has been cleared and traffic is moving again.

Congestion has reached two miles in length.

 


I-10 West is closed before LA 347 (Henderson) due to a crane falling onto the roadway

Louisiana State Police say that a crane has fallen across the westbound lanes of I-10 near mile marker 116.  One person was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.

Troopers say that the incident involved a crane and an SUV. The person in the vehicle was transported to the hospital. First responders are working to clear the scene.
