UPDATE: Breaux Bridge Police say the shooting at a Rees Street truck stop was related to a dispute.
The man who was shot, and the man who shot him were in some kind of argument, but they didn’t know each other, a spokesman said.
No suspect has been identified, police say.
Police were called to the Pilot Truck Stop on Rees Street shorty after 10 p.m. last night. They found a man with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries. He is recovering now in a hospital.
The man who shot him fled the scene and hasn’t yet been identified, police say.
