Thursday evening, a fallen tree knocked out power to almost 50 customers in St. Martin Parish.
The Entergy outage map showed the outage was located along Wilson St. Julien Road off of LA 182.
The fallen tree blocked the driveway of a Dollar General near the intersection of LA 92 and 182, according to an employee at the store. The traffic light at that intersection was out, causing traffic to back up.
An employee at the store said no one was hurt.
KATC Photographer Jon Monte says there is also an electric pole down next to the tree.
St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
